The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award

The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award is a global framework for non-formal education and learning, which challenges young people to discover their purpose, passion, and place in the world, to be ready for the world – whatever that may be. This program recognizes student achievement in a variety of personal development activities, including community service, outdoor educations expeditions and skills, and physical recreation. Students can work toward three award levels: Bronze, Silver, and Gold.

EBUS learners can contact Barb Ziler, Vice Principal or visit www.dukeofed.org for more information.
