Orange Shirt Day

EBUS Academy invites you to recognize Orange Shirt Day with us on Friday September 28th.   Orange Shirt Day is an opportunity for First Nations, schools, government and communities to come together in the spirit of reconciliation. Orange Shirt Day is a legacy of the St. Joseph Mission (SJM) residential school commemoration event held in Williams Lake, BC, Canada, in the spring of 2013. Tour VanDusen Gardens Tour

Drop Everything And Read

On October 22, 2018 the British Columbia Teacher–Librarians’ Association is challenging all students and teachers in British Columbia to Drop Everything and Read (DEAR) for 20 minutes.  Please join EBUS, in this challenge. Day at the Vancouver Museum

Doors Open to Technology (DOT)

EBUS invites female EBUS students in grades 10-12 to join us for the Doors Open to Technology (DOT) Event in Vancouver BC on Thurs, October 25th, 2018! The event focuses on career paths in BC’s tech sector; it is a full day event starting at Science World, followed by tours of local partners in tech occupations. Salmonids in the Classroom

EBUS Arts Day in Kelowna

EBUS students K-9, and families are invited to join EBUS teacher, Geneva Standbridge, for a day of artsy fun and learning in Kelowna, November 6th. Students can hand-craft pottery at That Pottery Place and/or participate in a tour of the Kelowna Art Gallery and art-making session.
