2023 Winter Break Information for EBUS Academy

December 23, 2023 – January 7, 2024: EBUS is CLOSED

 January 8, 2024: Staff are back in the office.

If you or your student has a specific course completion deadline in place or in mind, please keep this holiday closure in mind as it may impact students ability to work in the course while their teachers are on break. Facilitators , Parents and Guardians and students are encouraged to consult with teachers prior to December 20, 2023, to ensure a plan for success is in place.  

Can students submit coursework during the break?

• Coursework may be submitted; teachers will assess the work upon their return. Consult with your teacher to discuss your plan to work over the holiday. Please note that upon return from break, teachers may have large volumes of work to assess, which will impact the turnaround time of feedback and assessment.

Can Students take exams over the break?

• Invigilated exams can be done over the break but must be arranged with your teacher prior to December 20, 2023.
• In course quizzes / tests may not be available if they require teacher assessment prior to the test/quiz becoming available.

If you have any questions, please give us a call at 1-250-567-4413 or email ebushelpdesk@sd91.bc.ca prior to December 22nd.  EBUS will be closed from December 23, 2023 – January 7, 2024 and emails/calls will be returned as soon as possible upon return of staff on January 8, 2024.
