White Sturgeon Release

Attention full-time EBUS students in or near Vanderhoof, BC!  EBUS will be participating in the annual juvenille Sturgeon Release on Friday May 4th, 2018 at Riverside Park in Vanderhoof BC. We invite any interested local students or families to sign up right away and join us! This event is open to all grades. University of Toronto ICU Event

Are you planning to attend the University of Toronto this fall? The International Cantonese Union is hosting a conference, May 5th, in Richmond, at the Four Points Hotel. This non-profit event is free for everyone and aims to provide current high school students, in Vancouver, with a better understanding of the University of Toronto. Adventure Field Trips

EBUS is organizing four exciting outdoor adventure field trips, for May, 2018. The field trips will be in the lower mainland and Vancouver Island, and are open to EBUS students in grades 7-9 only. Hoop Dancing with EBUS

An Evening with Suzanne Perrault

The McLeod PAC, our School District and the BLNTU Pro-d Committee are partnering (along with other PACs including the EBUS PAC) to host Suzanne Perrault on Thursday May 10th at 6:30 pm. Suzanne is a counsellor, mediator, advocate, president of her DPAC, public speaker, workshop educator, and most importantly, a mother of children with special needs.  She is a mother who advocates for her children’s acceptance, and she works closely with many School Districts by running workshops, and information sessions…

BC Tech Summit Field Trip

EBUS students in grades 10-12 are invited to join us for the #BCTECH Youth Innovation Day in Vancouver BC on Wed May 16th! Students attending will have an opportunity to attend youth-focused conference sessions, explore the Marketplace and Tech Showcase, listen to inspiring speakers’ share how technology is changing the world, and gather practical information from post-secondary institutions and tech companies. The event is free for EBUS students but space is limited; students MUST SIGN UP by Friday May 4th.…

Creating with Soyeon Kim

EBUS elementary students joined published author and illustrator Soyeon Kim, last week, to learn about the process of creating illustrations through dioramas and her journey as a writer! Thank you to all the EBUS families who joined us here in Vanderhoof and virtually through the livestreamed presentation for a great morning of learning and creating.
