Accounting 11 is designed to be an introductory accounting course. It is assumed that the student has no basic accounting skills. The course is divided into 18 units in 8 chapters. The course brings the student along slowly building skills as they work through each unit. The tests can be done by the unit or in groups of 3 depending on the pace the student wishes to set.
Accounting 12 is a continuation of Accounting 11. It is based on the final 18 units and 8 chapters of the Principles of Accounting text. The course develops advanced accounting applications, building on the concepts of the previous units. The tests are more applied accounting than in Accounting 11.
BCA 11 is designed to be an introductory computer course. It is assumed that the student has a few basic skills, but primarily introduces word processing, spreadsheets and presentation software. The course is divided into 7 lessons and 7 projects with approximately 5 assignments each. The course brings the student along slowly building skills as they work through each assignment. Course is online, no text required.
