COURSE SELECTIONS FOR THE 2021-22 SCHOOL YEAR
This info is for fulltime EBUS students going into grade 10, 11 or 12 in September 2021. You will find all the information to complete your course selection.
For students considering leaving EBUS for the next school year, I recommend you contact the new school you are considering so you can take care of course selections very soon. If you plan to leave EBUS at the end of June, please be sure to send you advisor a heads up so we can transfer your file.
The first step in choosing your courses for the fall is to watch the grade appropriate presentation
For students going into grade 10, your recording is here (please note the presentation is 1 hour 24mins long, the rest is Q&A)
For students going into grade 11, your recording is here
For students going into grade 12, your recording is here
Each presentation contains very important information about the high school graduation program requirements, required grade specific courses, best practices for a successful school year, info on the Learning Support Funds, the required graduation assessments and more.
Once you have watched the grade appropriate video, students need to review the EBUS course selection booklet found here Course Description Booklet The booklet lists all the high school courses at EBUS along with a short description for each.
To plan out the 4-5 courses you will start in September, use the EBUS course planning worksheet found here Check off the 8 courses you plan to take dividing them into a fall start, and semester two start. Choose 4-5 to start in September.
Finally, to complete your course selection in MyEd you will need a login and password. An email was sent to you today – May 26th from SIS ADMIN with your MYED login information. It will ask you to change your password in MyEd . If your login does not work after you change the password please contact our helpdesk at 1-800-567-1236 ext 2255 or EBUSHelpDesk@sd91.bc.ca
