Ministry policy allows DL schools to reimburse families for a portion of their internet service. Claims are processed starting in late February and will continue for all claims received up to the last Friday in May. The February statement is used to calculate service from September 1st through June 30th of the current school year. Copies of the February internet statement should be emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org.
K-9 – a maximum of $400 reimbursement is available per student. Total internet claim for families (even those with more than one student) may not exceed the 10 month internet costs.
Gr 10 -12 – a maximum of $400 may be claimed for Internet reimbursement per student. Total internet claim for families (even those with more than one student) may not exceed the 10 month internet costs.
- Funding available for reimbursement is dependent on the number of courses that the student has activated in the current school year less VISA and other funding purchases.
***VISA cards are not to be used to pay for internet. EBUS will reimburse by cheque for all approved internet claims.
The last day to submit invoices or internet claims for payment is the last Friday in May.
