Studio Arts: Fabrics and Fibre 11
This course focuses on the use of a variety of materials related to fabrics, fibres and textiles. Students will learn about elements and principles of design as they work with these materials and expand their creative skills.
Course requirements include one written essay and several projects to total 100 – 120 hours. There is an extensive list of project options including felting, knitting, weaving, quilting, batiking, creating dreamcatchers, wreaths and woodcrafts. Students are also welcome to discuss their own project ideas.
